Why you should use natural stone in your home…

I am endlessly drawn to natural stone. There’s something primal about it—a direct connection to the earth beneath our feet. Its presence in a space feels grounding, ancient, and alive.

No matter how far technology takes us, humans have not been able to mimic the beauty of natural stone. That doesn’t mean there isn’t a place for human-made materials—each has its time and purpose. That said, I tend to gravitate to natural stone more often than not.

Some debate its durability or fear the wear. But to me, that’s the point. Natural stone ages with us. It holds the moments we live: the scratch from your child’s first solo attempt at slicing fruit, the faint mark from that night a friend spilled wine while you laughed together in the kitchen. These aren’t imperfections—they’re memories.

In its patina, it's aging, natural stone tells a story. Just like us, it is perfectly imperfect. And I find that profoundly beautiful.
