A Collaboration with a Local Artist & Musician

When our clients embarked on the journey of building their dream home, they envisioned a space that blended modern luxury with a bold, artistic spirit. Urbana Design was brought in to craft a kitchen and dining area that would be both a functional hub and an expression of their dynamic personality.

The pièce de résistance of this space is the breathtaking stone, which became the driving force behind the cabinetry color and overall design. The deep, dramatic veining reflects a raw, edgy elegance—perfectly complementing the homeowners’ creative energy.

To add warmth and authenticity, we incorporated reclaimed redwood from their former barn, giving new life to the island’s back panel and glass bar cabinet. A live-edge acacia dining table and bench, sourced locally, add a natural, grounded element to balance the luxe finishes.

This kitchen and dining space is more than just a place to cook and gather—it’s a reflection of artistry, individuality, and the seamless fusion of beauty and comfort.
